Your teenager has named you as the adult who knows. This page is the whole picture in one place: what they’ll actually do, what it costs, the safety rules, what we keep, and how to stop it. It takes about three minutes.
What FirstMade is
A coach, not a course. Your teenager writes one offer — one sentence, one price — names ten people, and asks every one of them. KRock, the coach in the app, is software: an AI that helps them think and rehearse. It never contacts anyone for them and never does the asking. The point is a real customer paying a real dollar, usually $20 to a few hundred.
Nothing goes further without you
When your teenager saves their progress, you get one email with an Approve button and a Not now button. Until you click Approve, they can explore and draft but cannot save an offer or start asking. If you click Not now, it stops there. Either way you can change your mind later by replying to that email.
What it costs
- Finding the offer is free — the first three levels never cost anything and never ask for a card.
- The plan is $4.99 a month, with the first 3 days free. It covers the ten asks, the money math, and every level after.
- You pay, not your teenager. Only an adult can add a card, and approving today charges nothing. You decide later whether to back the round.
- It renews monthly until cancelled. Cancel any time from the app. No partial-month refunds; access runs to the end of the period paid for.
- We never take a cut of anything your teenager earns. The plan is the only charge.
The safety rules your teenager agreed to
- Everyone they ask is someone they already know, or someone you introduce them to. The app no longer suggests approaching strangers.
- They never go into a customer’s home, car, garage or backyard alone.
- Under 15, an adult is present for any in-person first meeting. 15 to 17, you approve the person and place.
- KRock steers them toward age-appropriate work and away from anything unsafe.
- If a conversation with anyone stops being about the offer, they stop and tell you. The app tells them the same.
What we keep, and what we don’t
Their first name, email, birth month and year, your first name and email, and the work they do in the app: their offer, the first names of the ten, what people said, amounts logged, and their conversation with KRock. Nothing they type is shown to anyone but them — unless they choose to post a milestone to the public First Dollar Wall, which shows first name, lane and milestone only, and can be removed on request.
No location, no contacts, no photos, no microphone, no ads, no tracking across other sites, no feed, no messaging, no followers, no profiles. We email you once for approval and never send you their conversations.
What “logged” means
Asks and amounts are recorded by your teenager in the app. FirstMade stops anyone earning the same reward twice, but does not independently check what happened offline. Treat the numbers as their honest log, not an audit.
How to stop or delete
Reply to the approval email, or write to hello@firstmade.ai, and we remove the account and everything in it within 48 hours. If a Wall post exists, it goes too.
